Petrol station manager reportedly stabbed to death by employer over missing N40k

- A young man identified as Chigozie, recently died after suffering multiple stab wounds in Anambra state

- According to reports, the victim who was a fuel station manager was stabbed repeatedly with a screwdriver by his director over missing funds on November 8

- The said director fled the hospital after doctors confirmed the victim dead

The family and friends of a young man identified as Chigozie, have been thrown into mourning over his death. Chigozie, who was a petrol station manager in Anambra, had his life caught short by his seemingly pugnacious director

According to reports, the deceased who was a manager at a NENCO filling Station in Okpuno Nnewichi in Nnewi North local government area of the state, was allegedly stabbed to death by his employer on November 8.

Further details suggests that the trouble started when the director raised alarm over a missing N40,000 from the company's account. However, Chigozie's pleadings that the money be deducted from his November salary fell on deaf ears, as the director was firm on getting the alleged missing money immediately.

Perhaps, in a bid to prove how serious he was about getting the money, things unexpectedly turned bloody as the enraged director stabbed the victim multiple times using a screwdriver.

Chigozie was immediately rushed to the Rose of Sharon Specialist Hospital in Nnewi, where doctors confirmed him dead, prompting the suspect to flee from the hospital.

According to the spokesperson for Anambra state Police, Haruna Mohammed, the headquarters is yet to get the full details of the tragic incident.
